Growth Labs
Growth Labs, patterned after Harvard’s Growth Lab initiative, is a high-powered think-tank which is focussed on evidence-based research and analysis of critical development issues both at micro and macro-economic spheres in a country or a specific community. Growth Labs identify critical actors, gaps in policy and implementation and offer practical solutions to accelerate the development process. HCF will work mainly with governments in developing countries to establish Growth Labs and trigger a process to identify gaps and provide solutions in real time.
Consulting and Advisory
HCF Consulting and Advisory Services will be a logical follow-up to the identification of specific gaps emerging from the Growth Lab studies and recommendations for solutions. Solutions determined by government agencies as necessary for immediate implementation will be taken up by the Consulting and Advisory Services and a detailed plan of action will be mapped out with support, assistance, and consent of critical stakeholders. The result will be a time-bound project plan which will deliver the solutions recommended by the Growth Labs.
Project Management
HCF’s networked human resources capacities in project management will be made available to non-profits and social enterprises as a measure of enhancing their performance levels. Project management services will be offered at least cost, to support specific project designs and implementation modalities of inadequately funded and poorly staffed operations. The services may range from comprehensive development strategies to narrowly targeted projects in human capital development across several industries vital for economic growth.
